Dahi Aloo Roast Recipe - Potato Roast with Yogurt

This is a simple potato dish which i made few days back, it is so easy to make but taste really yummy specially with rasam rice, curd rice or sambar rice. 

I used baby potatoes in this, you can use regular potatoes which are cubed as well. The yogurt added gives a little tartness to the dish and taste wonderful.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 25 mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients:

Baby potatoes - 15 
Oil - 3 tblspn
Garlic - 6 cloves sliced thinly
Onion - 1 large sliced thinly
Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Yogurt - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves a handful chopped finely

Method:

Boil potatoes with salt till it is cooked. Drain and set aside to cool down. Peel it and set aside.

Heat oil in nonstick pan, add in garlic, onion and mix well.

Add in baby potatoes and toss well. Add salt to taste.


Now add in all the spice powders and yogurt and mix well.

Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 15 mins on low heat till it gets nice golden colour.

Now add in coriander leaves and mix well.

Serve.

Boil some baby potatoes with some salt and set aside to cool

peel off the skin and set aside

take all your ingredients

heat oil in a pan

add in sliced garlic


add in onions

cook for a min

add in potatoes

add salt

mix well

add in chilli powder, turmeric and garam masala powder

mix well

add in yogurt

mix well

now cover and cook for 10 to 15 mins

the yogurt will evaporate

and the potatoes will get nicely golden

keep roasting till it attains nice colour

add coriander leaves

mix well
