Bhutte ka Shorba (My Yellow Table)

  • A soul-stirring, wholesome shorba made of corn and subtle spices. Perfect for the nippy weather!
  • Ingredients

    • A bowl of sweet corn
    • 2 Tbsp oil
    • 4 cubes of butter
    • 1 Tbsp jeera
    • 1 Tbsp turmeric powder
    • 1 Onion
    • 1 Chilli
    • 1 Ginger
    • 4-5 Garlic cloves
    • Lemon juice
    • 1 tsp. chaat masala
    • Salt

    Method

    1. Heat oil, add butter, jeera, turmeric powder, chopped onion, chillies, garlic and chopped ginger.
    2. Now, add  sweet corn, water, salt and bring to boil.
    3. Add the mixture to a food processor & puree it.
    4. Pour it back into the pan, add some water, lemon juice, chaat masala & mix.
    5. Serve it in a bowl.
