Garlic Bread with Herbs

Crisp, buttery bread with herbs, garlic and freshly cracked black pepper.You can however use herbs of choice or even skip them completely and just use garlic.

                                                                     Serves:06 

Recipe Ingredients

  • 100 gms Amul Butter, softened
  • 1 loaf crusty Baguette
  • 4-5 Garlic cloves mashed with 1tsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Basil, chopped
  • freshly ground pepper
  • olive oil as required

Recipe Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Slice baguette and keep aside.
  3. Combine softened butter, mashed garlic, herbs and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Spread the butter mixture over the baguette slices.
  5. Brush with some more olive oil if desired.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or till crisp and golden.
My Tip: Add some grated cheese on top!
